Description:

L-ergothioneine from Brother Enterprises is 99% ergothioneine – a thiohistidine betaine for which skin has a dedicated transporter, OCTN1. This allows the molecule to be taken up by skin cells, where it acts as a powerful antioxidant and helps protect mitochondria and DNA from oxidative stress. It is recommended for anti-ageing serums, anti-pollution creams, eye serums and as an SPF booster.
