Description:

Altered Aqua Red 40 – OW from Koel Colours contains the dye FD&C Red No. 40 (Allura Red, CI 16035) in a water-based solution with propylene glycol, citric acid and sodium benzoate. Unlike its blue sibling Aqua Blue 1, it uses propylene glycol rather than PEG. The preparation colours shampoos, shower gels, body washes and liquid soaps red.

• Allura Red shade for clear and coloured cleansing bases.
• Water-soluble dye supplied as a ready preparation – no powder dissolving step.
• Contains propylene glycol, citric acid and sodium benzoate – relevant for the INCI declaration.
• Intended for rinse-off hair and body care products.

Applications: Shampoos, shower gels, rinse-off hair products, body washes and liquid soaps.
