Description:

BeriCos W-37 is phenylethyl resorcinol, a resorcinol derivative supplied by BERI PHARMA as a brightening active. It inhibits both the monophenolase and diphenolase activity of tyrosinase – two consecutive steps in the conversion of tyrosine into melanin. It also has antioxidant activity, so it suits tone-evening products that protect skin against oxidative stress.
