Description:

DJ 4-HAP is hydroxyacetophenone (4-hydroxyacetophenone) from DJC, a multifunctional ingredient used to boost preservation systems. It enhances preservative efficacy, making it easier to design formulas with reduced levels of conventional preservatives. It also has antioxidant and soothing properties and helps stabilise emulsions, so it fits a wide range of leave-on and rinse-off products.
