Description:

KOELOR-112 from Koel Colours Pvt. Ltd. is the same warm red D&C Red No. 7 calcium lake (CI 15850) as KOELOR-111, supplied as Grade 2. The grades in this series differ in tinting strength, letting formulators set colour intensity without changing the shade. As a calcium salt of the dye, the lake is insoluble and is added to lipsticks and glosses by dispersion in the oil-and-wax phase.

• Same warm D&C Red 7 shade, with tinting strength different from Grade 1 and Grade 3.
• Allows colour intensity to be adjusted while keeping the same shade.
• Insoluble calcium lake for lipsticks and lip glosses.
• Helps standardise colour across batches and product variants.

Applications: Lipstick, lip gloss.

• Form: D&C Red No. 7 calcium lake, Grade 2 – insoluble powder.
• Tinting strength differs from Grade 1 (KOELOR-111) and Grade 3 (KOELOR-113).
