Description:

KOELOW-201 (Koel Colours Pvt. Ltd.) is the water-soluble azo dye Carmoisine (E-122), delivering a crimson shade. Because it is water-soluble, it goes in without milling or dispersion stabilisation, which simplifies colouring water-based products. It is used in products such as cosmetics for the European market and toiletries.

• A crimson, slightly bluish red, deeper than Ponceau-type reds.
• The colour distributes evenly in aqueous solution, without streaks or agglomerates.
• Gives a transparent colour with no hiding power; intensity is adjusted by concentration.
• Carmoisine (E-122); declared in EU ingredient lists as CI 14720.
