Description:
KOELOW-503 from Koel Colours Pvt. Ltd. is FD&C Green No. 3: a triarylmethane water-soluble dye that gives formulations a green shade. Pigments cover through suspended particles, whereas this dye forms a solution in the water phase, which makes it well suited to clear products. It is used in products such as shampoos, rinse-off cosmetics and toiletries.
- Fast Green FCF: a ready green in one ingredient, without blending a yellow and a blue.
- Forms a solution in the water phase, so it does not settle like a pigment.
- Gives a transparent colour with no hiding power; intensity is adjusted by concentration.
- FD&C Green No. 3; declared in EU ingredient lists as CI 42053.
Applications: Shampoos, rinse-off cosmetics, toiletries.
- Add to the water phase of the product; as a soluble dye it needs no dispersion.
- Check conditions of use (product type, eye area, mucous membranes) in Annex IV of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
