PS-15 from Brother Enterprises is Polysilicone-15 – a UVB filter built on a silicone backbone, with an absorption maximum at 308 nm. It is photostable, and its silicone structure brings a characteristic silicone skin feel and improves the water resistance of the product. This makes it a good partner for UVA filters in sunscreens and daily SPF cosmetics.
