Description:

SiCare 264-70 is a silicone wax composed of C30-45 Alkyl Dimethicone and C30-45 Olefin. Very long alkyl chains raise the melting point to 63°C, so the wax provides structure in sticks and pressed products. At the same time it adds gloss and water resistance. It is used in lipsticks, blushers, eyeshadows and hair care where a stable, high-melting structure is required.

• 63°C melting point reinforces stick structure and improves heat stability.
• Adds surface gloss to lipsticks and other stick products.
• Increases water resistance of colour cosmetics.
• The C30-45 olefin helps build the wax network and raises mass hardness.
• Much higher melting point than the 262 series waxes and 264-30F.
