Good lubricity; skin softening; refreshing & silky feel; high dispersion power; dry non-greasy feel; reduces formula stickiness; similar volatility to D5. Low-viscosity linear methyl trimethicone (MT silicone oil). Volatilises completely after application with similar evaporation rate to cyclopentasiloxane (D5) but with a more linear molecular structure. Reduces surface tension, improves spreadability and compatibility with most cosmetic oils. Refreshing and non-greasy. Applications: Liquid foundation, sunscreen, face cream, lotion, essence, hair spray, conditioner, antiperspirant, cleansing oil, shaving products.
