Description:

BEMT is Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine at 98% purity – an organic triazine UV filter covering both UVB and UVA, with absorption maxima at 310 and 340 nm. It is oil-soluble and photostable, and it also photostabilises avobenzone in the formula. In the EU the maximum permitted concentration is 10% (Annex VI). It is used in sunscreens and SPF cosmetics.
