Description:

DJ DIOL-8 is caprylyl glycol (1,2-octanediol), supplied by DJC. This eight-carbon 1,2-diol combines antimicrobial activity with skin-conditioning properties. In formulas it is used mainly as a preservative booster, strengthening the preservation system while also improving the product’s skin feel. It suits a broad range of leave-on and rinse-off cosmetics.
