SiCare 2942 is an ultra-low viscosity dimethicone (1–3 cps) that behaves as a volatile fluid – according to the manufacturer it evaporates at a rate comparable to cyclopentasiloxane (D5). It aids spreading on application and then evaporates, leaving a light layer. It is compatible with pigments, resins and organic UV filters, so it suits foundations, sunscreens, emulsions, essences, hair sprays, antiperspirants and nail polishes.
