Description:

SiCare 2422 is an amodimethicone – a polydimethylsiloxane modified with amino groups – supplied at 5,000–15,000 cps with a low nitrogen content of 0.05%. The amino functionality gives the silicone affinity for hair, so it stays on the fibre after rinsing. It is intended for strong conditioning in shampoos, conditioners, hair dyes and styling products.

• High conditioning level – clearly improves wet and dry combing.
• Smooths the hair surface and leaves a soft, supple touch.
• Helps maintain curl definition and hold after styling.
• Supports colour durability on dyed hair.
• Higher viscosity and lower nitrogen than SiCare 2429, giving a different deposition profile.

Applications: Shampoos, conditioners, hair dyes and styling products.

• Viscosity: 5,000–15,000 cps.
• Nitrogen content (N): 0.05%.
• Form: neat amodimethicone (no emulsifiers in the INCI).
