Description:

KOELOR-144 is the calcium lake of D&C Red No. 34 (CI 15880) from Koel Colours Pvt. Ltd., giving a deep maroon shade. Binding the dye to calcium converts it into an insoluble salt that is distributed through sticks and lacquers like a pigment. The manufacturer indicates use in lip and nail products, where this dark, muted red suits lipsticks, lip liners and lacquers in wine and plum tones.
