Description:

KOELOR-147 is the aluminium lake of the red dye FD&C Red No. 4 (E-125, CI 14700), produced by Koel Colours Pvt. Ltd. Precipitating the dye on an alumina substrate yields an insoluble powder that colours the product as a dispersion rather than a solution. The manufacturer intends KOELOR-147 for hair colour and rinse-off cosmetics, a narrower field than the lakes designed for make-up.
