Description:

KOELOR-180 is the aluminium lake of FD&C Yellow No. 5 (E-102, CI 19140), also known as tartrazine, from Koel Colours Pvt. Ltd. It gives a bright, clean yellow. Fixed on an alumina substrate, the dye is insoluble and works in the product like a pigment, dispersed through the mass. The manufacturer notes food and cosmetic use for this colour; in cosmetics it lists shampoos, lotions, toiletries and colour products.
