Description:

KOELOS-740 is a yellow azo dye soluble in oil, supplied by Koel Colours Pvt. Ltd. as Solvent Yellow 18. A pigment covers through particles suspended in the base, whereas an oil-soluble dye forms a homogeneous solution with it, so the colour stays clean and transparent. Typical applications: nail polish and decorative cosmetics.

• An alternative to Solvent Yellow 16 (KOELOS-700) when selecting a yellow dye for solvent-based systems.
• Added to the oil phase, it forms a homogeneous solution rather than a suspension.
• Gives a transparent colour with no hiding power; intensity is adjusted by concentration.
• Solvent Yellow 18; declared in EU ingredient lists as CI 12740.

Applications: Nail polish, decorative cosmetics.

• Dissolve in the oil phase or in the solvent base of the product.
