Description:
KOELOS-650 from Koel Colours Pvt. Ltd. is D&C Green No. 6: an anthraquinone oil-soluble dye that gives formulations a green shade. Being a dye rather than a pigment, it forms no suspension: it dissolves in lipophilic ingredients and tints them clearly, without hiding power. Typical applications: nail polish and lip products.
- A green anthraquinone dye (Quinizarine Green) for colouring oils, waxes and lacquers.
- Added to the oil phase, it forms a homogeneous solution rather than a suspension.
- Gives a transparent colour with no hiding power; intensity is adjusted by concentration.
- D&C Green No. 6; declared in EU ingredient lists as CI 61565.
Applications: Nail polish, lip products.
- Dissolve in the oil phase or in the solvent base of the product.
- Check conditions of use (product type, eye area, mucous membranes) in Annex IV of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
