Description:

BTi™ AHSA is an inorganic UV filter from ShieldBiso based on titanium dioxide nanoparticles surface-treated with aluminium hydroxide and stearic acid. The TiO2 particles reflect and scatter ultraviolet radiation to give broad-spectrum UVA+UVB protection, while the surface treatment improves their dispersibility in oil. It is designed for sunscreens, daily UV protection products and BB or CC creams.

• Physical UVA+UVB protection – TiO2 nanoparticles reflect and scatter incoming UV radiation.
• Photostable inorganic filter that keeps its performance during sun exposure.
• Aluminium hydroxide and stearic acid coating makes the powder easier to disperse in the oil phase.
• Supports sun protection built on a mineral filter instead of organic UV absorbers.

Applications: SPF creams and lotions, daily UV protection products, BB and CC creams.

• Composition: Titanium Dioxide (and) Aluminum Hydroxide (and) Stearic Acid – TiO2 with a lipophilic surface treatment, added to the oil phase.
• Contains TiO2 nanoparticles – in the EU the ingredient list of the finished product must carry the “(nano)” label.
