Description:
KOELOR-010 from Koel Colours Pvt. Ltd. is the aluminium lake of D&C Orange No. 4 (CI 15510), giving a bright orange shade. Once the dye is fixed on an alumina substrate it loses its solubility, so in anhydrous formulas and lacquers it acts like a pigment and is distributed through the product by dispersion. It is used in nail polish and lip products, subject to the restrictions that apply to D&C colours.
