Description:

KOELOR-130TA is a lake of D&C Red No. 30 (CI 73360) deposited on talc, made by Koel Colours Pvt. Ltd. Instead of the usual alumina carrier, the dye is precipitated onto talc, which the manufacturer says gives the powder a softer texture. Like any lake it is insoluble and colours by dispersion, and the talc substrate fits naturally into powder bases. It is used in lipstick, eyeshadow, blush and nail polish.
