Description:

SiCare 2185P5 is a dual-crosslinked elastomer powder with a 5 μm particle size, combining a silicone crosspolymer (Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer) with a polyurethane one (HDI/Trimethylol Hexyllactone Crosspolymer), from Hunan Silok Silicone. It gives soft, velvety smoothness and a texture reminiscent of down feathers. It mattifies and adsorbs oil, emulsifies easily, builds viscosity and limits migration. It is intended for emulsions, sunscreens, lip products and loose powders.

• Down-feather-like texture with soft, velvety smoothness on the skin.
• Dual silicone-polyurethane crosslinking sets it apart from conventional elastomer powders.
• Adsorbs oil and gives a matte finish.
• Increases formula viscosity and is easy to incorporate into emulsions.
• Limits product migration in colour cosmetics.

Applications: Lotions and creams, sunscreens, lipsticks, lip glosses, loose powders, eye shadows, blushers and elastic mousses.
