Description:

SiCare 2290 is a water-soluble PEG-12 Dimethicone silicone produced by Hunan Silok Silicone, with a viscosity of 120–180 cps and an HLB of 12.2. It brings a silicone feel to clear water-based formulas without clouding them. It reduces stickiness, adds gloss and a silky touch, and in cleansing products it boosts and stabilises foam and conditions hair. It is intended for clear aqueous essences, gels, make-up removers, shampoos and conditioners.

• Dissolves in water while keeping the formula transparent.
• Reduces the stickiness of gels and essences.
• Adds high gloss and a silky feel to skin and hair.
• Increases foam volume and stability in cleansing products.
• Conditions hair in shampoos and conditioners.

Applications: Clear aqueous essences, gels, make-up removers, shampoos, conditioners, lotions and creams.

• Form: water-soluble silicone, viscosity 120–180 cps.
• HLB 12.2; SiCare 2292F (HLB 14.7) is the more hydrophilic grade with better clarity in water.
