Description:
KOELOR-013 is the aluminium lake of D&C Orange No. 5 (CI 45370) from Koel Colours Pvt. Ltd., notable for an orange shade with a fluorescent character. Like every lake, it is a dye fixed on an insoluble alumina carrier, so it does not dissolve in the formula but forms a dispersion in the same way a pigment does. It is intended for nail polish and lip products that call for an intense, luminous orange.
- Fluorescent, luminous orange – sets it apart from the classic bright shade of KOELOR-010.
- The alumina carrier makes the dye insoluble so it can be dispersed like a pigment.
- Suited to emphasising vivid, neon-like shades in lacquers and lip products.
- Works well as a component of blends with other KOELOR lakes.
