Description:

KOELOR-024 is the aluminium lake of the blue dye Patent Blue V (E-131, CI 42051) from Koel Colours Pvt. Ltd. Unlike the grades based on D&C and FD&C colours, this is an EEC-listed colour, and the manufacturer targets it at cosmetics for the European market. Precipitating the dye on an alumina substrate yields an insoluble powder that colours by dispersion rather than dissolution – useful in powder, anhydrous and cleansing products.
