Description:

KOELOR-511 is the barium lake of D&C Red No. 6 (CI 15850) from Koel Colours Pvt. Ltd. In this type of lake the dye forms an insoluble barium salt, and the choice of cation affects the shade: according to the manufacturer, KOELOR-511 gives a deeper warm red than the calcium lake. As a powder insoluble in water and oils, it is dispersed in lipsticks and nail lacquers like a pigment.
