Description:

KOELOW-301 from Koel Colours Pvt. Ltd. is FD&C Red No. 3 (E-127): a xanthene water-soluble dye that gives formulations a pink shade. Rather than covering like a pigment, it colours transparently: it dissolves in water and keeps gels, shampoos and liquids clear. Main uses include cosmetics and toiletries.

• Erythrosine, an iodinated fluorescein derivative giving a slightly bluish pink.
• Forms a solution in the water phase, so it does not settle like a pigment.
• Colours from within: the product stays clear and the shade is easy to grade.
• FD&C Red No. 3 (E-127); declared in EU ingredient lists as CI 45430.

Applications: Cosmetics, toiletries.

• Add to the water phase of the product; as a soluble dye it needs no dispersion.
