Description:

BZn™ S from ShieldBiso is nano zinc oxide surface-treated with silica. Unlike BZn™ M, the coating contains no silicone; its role is to improve dispersibility of the ZnO in oil. The filter physically reflects and scatters UVA and UVB radiation, is photostable and soothes the skin. It is intended for sunscreens, daily protection products and BB or CC creams.

• Physical UVA+UVB protection – ZnO reflects and scatters radiation over a broad range.
• Silicone-free silica coating – an alternative to the methicone-treated grade.
• Surface treatment helps disperse the nanoparticles evenly in the oil phase.
• Soothing and photostable – properties valued in mineral filters for everyday use.

Applications: SPF creams, daily UV protection products, BB and CC creams.

• Composition: Zinc Oxide (and) Silica – silica-treated zinc oxide added to the oil phase.
• Nano form – a finished product for the EU market must show “(nano)” in the ingredient list.
