Description:
KOELOR-057 is the aluminium lake of D&C Yellow No. 10 (CI 47005) from Koel Colours Pvt. Ltd. It gives a bright yellow with a distinctly greenish tone. Deposited on an alumina substrate, the dye is insoluble, so in lacquers, sticks and powders it is incorporated by dispersion, like a pigment. The manufacturer lists nail polish and lip products, with eye make-up only where regulations permit.
- Bright greenish-yellow – a cooler tone than the FD&C Yellow 5 and 6 lakes.
- Useful for adjusting blend undertones and building lime and green shades.
- Insoluble lake form for anhydrous bases, lacquers and powders.
- Per the manufacturer, not intended for eye-area products in the EU.
