Description:

SiCare 2216F9 is a Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone silicone emulsifier produced by Hunan Silok Silicone. The molecule is amphiphilic: PEG/PPG chains provide water affinity, while cetyl groups and the dimethicone backbone provide affinity for oils and silicones. It therefore concentrates at the oil-water interface and stabilises inverse emulsions. It is used as the primary emulsifier in water-in-oil (W/O) creams, lotions and foundations.
