Description:

SiCare 2248R3 is a composite PEG/PPG/alkyl silicone (Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone) from the 2248 series by Hunan Silok Silicone. It works at the oil-water interface as a W/O emulsifier and system stabiliser. Among the grades of this series, 2248R3 is the one for which the manufacturer lists an additional function – powder dispersion, which matters in emulsions containing pigments and other powders. The other grades are SiCare 2248R4 and 2248R9.
