Description:

SiCare 2248R4 is a Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone emulsifier from the 2248 series by Hunan Silok Silicone. Its molecule combines PEG/PPG chains, cetyl groups and a dimethicone backbone, so it aligns at the oil-water interface. It is used to emulsify and stabilise water-in-oil emulsions. It shares its INCI with SiCare 2216F9, 2248R3 and 2248R9 – the choice of grade depends on the TDS parameters and the requirements of the formula.

• Forms stable water-in-oil (W/O) emulsions for skin care and make-up.
• Composite PEG/PPG/alkyl/silicone structure acts at the oil-water interface.
