KOELOR-255 is the aluminium lake of Ponceau 4R (E-124, CI 16255), manufactured by Koel Colours Pvt. Ltd. This EEC-listed red dye has been precipitated on an alumina substrate, turning it into an insoluble colouring powder used like a pigment.
